When you use AC, it is important that you don’t set it to extremely low temperatures like 16 degrees or 18 degrees. Because doing so makes the compressors work hard and adds to the bill.

If you wish to lower the electricity bills even while using AC then keep the temperature at optimum level. Each AC has an auto mode. You need to select it. For every degree you raise the temperature, you can save 6% on electricity.

Depending on what capacity of AC you wish to install and the other power equipment that you are currently using you can decide about the fact whether you need a three-phase connection.

Sometimes a three-phase connection is not needed. All you need is to intimate your power service provider to increase the load. This will be a cost-effective option rather than opting for a three-phase connection.

First, find out the area of your room. Then divide it by 600 to get the basic capacity. So, if your room is 100 sq. feet, the basic AC capacity required will be 0.167 tons (100 / 600).

For households, you can opt for window AC or Split AC. Both have their own merits. For hotels or commercial establishments, you can opt for bigger industrial ACs or opt for centrally AC system.
